On Being Big Brother

Any good programmer knows a sharp mind can in about 20 minutes come up with a world in which an agency can

infiltrate providers
classify customers
classify gateways (residence, non residence, etc)
classify users
classify applications
establish links
classify patterns
identify threats.

The program, while formidable, is straightforward. It's conceivable that every time a connection is made, big brother twinkles and categorizes the threat of the actions.

Paul Ryan Couldn't Be More Wrong

I heard him on the radio
and I wrote it down
he said

"...our rights come from nature & God, not from government..."

which is exactly the opposite of reality
without a meaningful government guarantee
"rights" are useless
just a verbal construct

The Chinese have rights
as do the North Koreans
Africans and Syrians have rights, too, for sure
They are token rights
they mean nothing
they don't help against the gunmen and machete wielders

What's troubling about Ryan's statement
is the implicit meaning behind it
These rights, that I support, are holy, the authority behind them is magical, but I have said it is so, and so it is...

What Comedians Don't Talk About

Driving
the other day I'm on a two lane  behind a guy waiting to make a left...
yeah that would be a riot

Laugh Tracks

[what would you call it] The network identifier; omnipresent, translucent, innocuous icon that started  appearing on the T.V. screen on the lower right in I forget what year . There was a never a beep (that I saw) about that

Bacterial colonies

Ponder bacteria
a population has function
intended or otherwise
as part of a structure

members don't survive
they're functional
and then they retire

much like Americans
sickened up with feed
then slaughtered
an industrial process
from cradle to crave
that none escape

Stephanie Seneff, PhD 1:05:41 youtube video [poetry and paranoia in motion]

I am listening to this interview for the manieth [sic] time
her paper was released a year ago?
she is a scientist for x years
senior research scientist at MIT for years

so I have this idea to take notes
not everyone has an hour and five minutes
a group I am part of yes for sure
and this is how knowledge disseminates

a poet can take an hour and give it to you in a minute
if the poet wants to convince you to give up paste
the poet wonders who then would be interesting in knowing
that this interesting interview
that followed an interesting scientific paper
that is coincident with other interesting findings
    about this market

it's a good thing there's no way
that the fact I am watching this video
   so many times
is an element in a data mine

who would care that a poet is making connections?

China's "new" air defense zone

to: rush, npr,michael

how fast can china go?

id like to hear potentialities

is beijing weak?

is this a mistake on their part

what groups are in play

what conflicts between them

what is at stake

what is the history and status of air defense zones

how do they come into existence

how long do they remain

does the AMSC vs Sinovel case fit in

just speculating

is there a new schoool group who advocate legitimate international relations, e.g. property rights, counterfeiting

vs hardliners who want to continue operating like an occupying army

American Superconductor Corporation

AMSC vs China
very contemporary
do the Chinese not know
 they can buy it
they don't have to steal it
 and as case may be
 they cannot steal it

strong bull case for buying shares made by awkinvest in seeking alpha for shares being worth more

Human Cattle

The economics of the food structure
works against good health for
the poor and ignorant

They are fattened and sickened up

The owners, their marketers and salesmen prosper

The medical industry feeds off of them

They are eventually slaughtered

It's is a system of wealth transfer

The Dysfunctional U.S. Senate

The Senate calls the issue of
presidential court nominee confirmation by simple majority
     nuclear

This is hubris
  disrespectful to the executive branch
and the trust the people have
      that the nomination is fair

The Senate makes it's own rules in this matter

It is hubris for the Senate to cloak themselves
in the identity of the people
    in this matter

It would be better for them to do their job
  consider, question, and vote
    other than wasting time
      and costing us all

On DNA Cheek swabbing

the issue is as it always has been and always will be
are the people protected
in this case
as in others that can come to mind
what protects the people from abuse

if the district attorney and the cops want YOU to go to jail
off you go
the jury might save you
but you are already in a nightmare, yes?

Look no further than any wrongful arrest, conviction and incarceration

the next time I take a walk to the boardwalk
I could be stopped, taken into custody, charged, tried and incarcerated
because someone had described a criminal and I fit the description
then I could be chosen in a lineup
and...you get the picture
it happens
it's a worse fear

now think
this society foot prints all newborns, yes
fingerprints
DNA cheek swabs

what is the protection from error, abuse &  malfeasance

Worms and Tyrants - The Invasion of Iraq

When it rains
you see the worm on the concrete
and you ponder
maybe you act
maybe you have rescued worms in the past
maybe you have squashed them

It is 11 years after
Is Iraq better off?
If you lost your most loved one to a unjust blow
will you ever be better?

Is there a connection from the fall of Saddam
to the fall of Mubarek?

If yes
what is it?

Who is to say that Saddam would not have been squashed
the next day
the next year
that change could come another way
and Iraq would have come to be better now
then then

who gained from Iraq?
we know how
we know what
but who?

Define Politics

My first college year
we were challenged to define politics
and learned
and I have remembered
that politics is
how who gets what
that's it
I'll say it again

how who gets what
